Fortaleza do Guincho

Restaurant & Hotel Fortaleza do Guincho opened in 1998, when acclaimed French Chef Antoine Westermann introduced a French fine dining concept in the restaurant.

In 2001 the restaurant has been awarded with one Michelin star and renewed every year since then until today.

Today revolves the philosophy around the Atlantic Ocean, local products and Portuguese fl avors, accompanied by a wide selection of more than 850 wines. A breathtaking view over the Atlantic in a unique setting complements a gastronomic experience where Chef Gil Fernandes invites you to taste the best local products in season, seafood from the Portuguese coastline along with the “aroma” and history of Portuguese traditions.
