About Porto Santa Maria
70 years ago, Porto Santa Maria was founded in the simplicity and true meaning of sustainability, offering the best that the Guincho Coast would bring in one's home: sea bass, golden bream, lobster, crayfish, and the much missed and unique Cascais Norway lobster that made and make gourmet delights.
Man lives not by fish alone, and the saloia (peasants from the Lisbon region) influence in this bay is welcome: the Mafra bread baked in wood stoves, the thriving vegetables, the rustic fruits bursting with rural flavours, and the Colares wine so unmatched in its growth and production.
Passing through Lisbon, the Guincho Coast is a must visit. You will leave there enriched after discovering the whole expanse of sea and rock until the place where we meet, at last feeling the breeze that comes off the dunes and inhaling the aromas from the salty sea.
Finally, indulge in a fine meal that is so simple yet that becomes the most glamorous dinning experience when combined with the sea view.
