On 9 May, the Penha Longa Resort will host the Solidarity Golf Event, an initiative that aims to raise funds for breast cancer research, developed by the GIMM - Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine. This event combines sport with solidarity, providing an opportunity for participants to contribute to an important cause while enjoying sport in a unique setting.
With silent auctions, competitive challenges and a tombola of exclusive prizes, the tournament culminates with a dinatoire cocktail at the Arola restaurant, where the prize-giving and charity auction will take place and will be attended by the Michelin-starred chef Sergi Arola. All the money raised will go to support research and advances in the treatment of breast cancer.
Through this initiative, Penha Longa Resort aims to promote its commitment to social causes, using golf as a platform to raise awareness and support the fight against breast cancer.
