Markets and Fairs

Visit the region’s diverse markets or wander along the many handicraft and antique fairs held in the parks and gardens of Cascais and you will enjoy discovering the local products in a friendly and colourful atmosphere.

Strolling by the numerous fairs and markets that are organized in the area is an excellent opportunity to establish contact with its extremely friendly people and the rooted traditions.
It is also a great opportunity to buy clothes, shoes, porcelain, vegetables, crafts and a multitude of typical regional products with incredible prices.

Cascais hosts many fairs and markets that are highly appreciated by our visitors.
The main ones are:

  • Cascais: Wednesdays and Saturdays in the morning
  • Adroana: on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month
  • Carcavelos: Thursday mornings
  • Sintra: the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month in São Pedro

Mercado da Vila de Cascais

Throughout the year, Mercado da Vila will receive several thematic markets such as the ones consecrated to chocolate or sardine. See the full 2017 calendar.
